Defendant Michael Aguayo Sanchez raises a number of constitutional challenges to the condition of his probation requiring him to register with law enforcement pursuant to Penal Code sections 186.30 and 186.32,1 the "gang registration" law. We find that the registration requirement is constitutional. BACKGROUND On October 27, 2000, Gilroy Police officers responded to a report of a fight in progress and found a victim bleeding from facial injuries. The victim's left eye was swollen shut and he had deep lacerations on his lips. The victim reported that defendant had approached him, yelled "Norte puto," and began punching him. Two witnesses corroborated the victim's account of the beating. Defendant pled no contest to one count of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury (
