SULLIVAN, C. J. The plaintiffs, the city of Bridgeport (city) and the city's board of park commissioners, appeal1 from the judgment of the trial court dismissing their appeal from the decision of the defendant, the

plan and zoning commission of the town of Fairfield, granting the defendant's own application to change the zoning designation of certain property owned by the city in the town of Fairfield (town). The plaintiffs claim, inter alia, that the defendant lacked jurisdiction over the matter because it failed to comply with the provisions of General Statutes
