In this wrongful death action, the plaintiffs,1 surviving spouses and representatives of the estates of sixty-one decedents, appeal from the judgment of the trial court rendered in favor of the defendants, United Technologies Corporation and several of its corporate officers,2 on the ground that the plaintiffs' action is time-barred under General Statutes
