HENNESSY, J. The defendant, Barbara E. Janik, appeals from the judgment of the trial court modifying its order of custody of her minor child from joint legal custody to sole legal custody in the plaintiff, Edward J. Janik. The defendant claims that the court improperly (1) ordered her to undergo a psychological evaluation and to attend mediation sessions with the plaintiff and a court-appointed therapist, (2) modified child custody without sufficient evidence, (3) delegated its judicial authority to mental health professionals and (4) violated her constitutional right to an open court pursuant to article first,
