Defendant-Appellant Randall Yin Tau Hew (Randall) appeals the family court's May 19, 1999 Decree Granting Absolute Divorce (Divorce Decree). More specifically, Randall appeals:

(1) some of the decisions dividing and distributing the property and debts of the parties; and (2) the lack of a decision regarding the question of child support. We affirm the Divorce Decree relating to the dissolution of the marriage; vacate the Divorce Decree relating to spousal support and the division and distribution of the property and debts of the parties; and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion. the parties are reminded of the time limitation imposed by Hawai#i Revised Statutes (HRS)
