Upon consideration of:

Wailehua, Jr.'s application for a writ of mandamus directed to a public official, in which Petitioner contends that the respondent law clerk is denying Petitioner access to the court and the papers in support; and (2) Respondent Jason C. Zhao's answer to the application for a writ of mandamus, it appears that: (1)

Petitioner contends the respondent is denying access to the court by not allowing the circuit court judge to decide motions filed with the court; (2) review of the circuit court file shows that, on January 30, 2002, the circuit court entered orders on Petitioner's disputed motions; and (3) Petitioner has obtained the relief requested and is not being denied access to the court. Therefore, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the petition for a writ of mandamus is dismissed as moot. DATED: Honolulu, Hawai#i, March 1, 2002.
