First District, Fourth Division Docket No. 1-10-0797 September 29, 2011 The appellate court affirmed the trial court's judgment upholding the findings and awards entered by the Chicago Commission on Human Relations on defendant's complaint alleging harassment and wrongful termination on the basis of his perceived sexual orientation, including the findings that although defendant was not terminated because of his perceived sexual orientation, he was subjected to harassment and a hostile work environment on that basis and the awards for emotional injury, punitive damages, and attorney fees and costs.
