Respondent, Robert K., appeals the trial court's orderrequiring him to submit a blood sample for genetic marker (DNA)profiling analysis pursuant to section 5--4--3(a) of the UnifiedCode of Corrections (the Code) (730 ILCS 5/5--4--3(a) (West 2000)). On appeal, respondent contends that (1) section 5--4--3(a) of theCode violates his right to be free from unreasonable searches andseizures under the federal and state constitutions (U.S. Const.,amend.
