THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, Plaintiff-Appellee, v. JACKIE E. HUGHES, Defendant-Appellant.

District & No.

Second District Docket No. 2-09-0992 July 19, 2011 The trial court had jurisdiction under the revestment doctrine to accept defendant's guilty plea to aggravated criminal sexual abuse after the State nol-prossed that count, and the trial court's failure to advise defendant of the collateral consequence that the plea could be used as a basis for a sexually-violent-person petition did not render the plea involuntary.
