Second District Docket No. 2-09-1299 September 22, 2011 Defendant's convictions for criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct arising from an incident in which he resisted while being treated in a hospital emergency room were affirmed over his contentions that the affirmative defense of self-defense applied to both charges and that he was not proved guilty of disorderly conduct, but his fines under the Violent Crime Victims Assistance Act were reduced from $20 to $4 and one of the two 10% bond fees imposed was vacated.
