JUSTICE BURKE delivered the judgment of the court, with opinion. Chief Justice Kilbride and Justices Freeman, Thomas, Garman, Karmeier, and Theis concurred in the judgment and opinion. OPINION Defendant, Thomas L. Zimmerman, was convicted of two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm and one count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. The information for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon charged that defendant previously had been adjudicated delinquent for an act that would have been a felony if committed by an adult.
