Iray Ledoux was appointed by the City/Parish Council for the City of Baton Rouge and the Parish of East Baton Rouge (city/parish) to the position of Director of Aviation for the Greater Baton Rouge Airport District (airport district) on May 1, 1977. He was employed in this position until his retirement, Prior to August 1, 1985, the airport

effective April 28, 1995.
