The tri al court's ruling i s reversed to the extent that it ordered suppressed the de fendant's statements made at the scene of the v ehicular a ccident to Officer Cody Cast o. In al l other r espects, the State 's writ a pplication is denied. This case is remanded to the trial court for further proceedings in con formity with the views expressed in this opinion. AFFIRMED IN PART; REVERSED IN PART; CASE REMA NDED TO T HE TRIAL COURT.

STATE OF LOUISIANA VERSUS RACHEL SHIRLEY ON WRIT OF CERTIORARI TO THE COURT OF APPEAL, FIRST CIRCUIT, PARISH OF IBERVILLE KNOLL, JUSTICE At issue in this vehicular homicide case is whether the trial court correctly granted the defendant's motion to suppress statements she made at the scene of a fatal, one-car accident in which the passenger was killed after the defendant lost control of her car and flipped it upside down. This brings into question whether the trial court properly suppressed the results of a blood-alcohol test taken under the provisions of La. Rev. Stat.
