ATTORNEY DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS

PER CURIAM*
This disciplinary matter arises from formal charges filed by the Office of Disciplinary Counsel ("ODC") against respondent, Michael Wayne McClanahan, an attorney licensed to practice law in Louisiana but currently on interim suspension pursuant to a joint motion of the parties filed in October 1997. In re: McClanahan, 97-2555 (La. 11/5/97), 701 So. 2d 959. The interim suspension followed

respondent's acknowledgment to the ODC that he was addicted to drugs and alcohol. Thereafter, respondent entered substance abuse treatment for his addiction and achieved sobriety.
