REPORT AND RECOMMENDED DECISION1 This Social Security Disability ("SSD") appeal raises the question of whether substantial evidence supports the commissioner's determination that the plaintiff, who alleges that he is disabled by left inguinal pain in the wake of several inguinal-hernia surgeries, is capable of performing work existing in significant numbers in the national economy.
