Jason Palm has filed a civil action against fourteen defendants with allegations that stem from a July 23, 2005, incident at his Fayette, Maine residence that transpired after Palm called 911 seeking medical assistance for his mother-in-law. A chain of events ensued in which Palm's wife, Charlotte Palm, was alone with animals inside the residence and state and county law enforcement officers were outside the residence on a theory that Charlotte was armed and suicidal and were attempting to get Charlotte to emerge.
