MEMORANDUM OPINION Maeve McGrath-Malott ("Plaintiff" or "McGrath-Malott"), formerly a Deputy Sheriff for Washington County, Maryland, has brought this employment discrimination action against the State of Maryland ("the State"), the Board of County Commissioners of Washington County, Maryland ("the County"), the Washington County Sheriff's Office ("Sheriff's Office") and Charles F. Mades ("Mades"), Sheriff of Washington County, in his individual and official capacities. Her Complaint alleges, inter alia, that the Defendants discriminated against her on the basis of her sex in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 ("Title VII"), as amended, 42 U.S.C.
