Preview:IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF MARYLAND STRONG PHARMACEUTICAL LABORATORIES, LLC, Plaintiff, * v. * TRADEMARK COSMETICS, INC. * Defendant. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Civil Action No.: RDB 05-3427 * *

MEMORANDUM OPINION This action arises out of a Complaint that Strong Pharmaceutical Laboratories, LLC ("Strong" or "Plaintiff") filed against Trademark Cosmetics, Inc. ("Trademark" or "Defendant"). Pending before this Court are two motions: Defendant's Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Personal Jurisdiction and Motion to Transfer. Defendant argues that this Court cannot exercise personal jurisdiction over Defendant because Defendant lacks sufficient contacts with the State of Maryland and also because Plaintiff's cause of action is not related to Defendant's contacts with Maryland. Defendant also contends that this action should be transferred to California under 28 U.S.C.
