This is another chapter in the "arcane" and evolving book of sentence aggregation disputes that have arisen since the General Assembly created two different accrual rates for good conduct credits.1 As a general rule, for non-violent and non-drug crimes

committed after July 1, 1992, sentences accrue good conduct credits at the rate of ten per month; but sentences for certain violent and drug crimes accrue such credits at half that rate
