Defendant appeals as of right from his conviction by a jury of three counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct, MCL 750.520c(1)(a); MSA 28.788(3)(1)(a), one count of first degree criminal sexual conduct, MCL 750.520b(1)(a); MSA 28.788(2)(1)(a), and one count of assault with intent to commit second-degree criminal sexual conduct, MCL 750.520g; MSA 28.788(7). Defendant was sentenced as a second sex offender, MCL 750.520f; MSA 28.788(6), and an habitual second offender under MCL 769.10; MSA 28.1082, to a term of 5 to 7
