Following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, MCL 750.520b(1)(e); MSA 28.788(2)(1)(e), and one count each of assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct, MCL 750.520g(1); MSA 28.788(7)(1), and breaking and entering an occupied dwelling, MCL 750.110; MSA 28.305. The trial court sentenced defendant to forty to sixty years' imprisonment for each of the first-degree criminal sexual conduct convictions, 7
