SYLLABUS At a bail hearing, a defendant has the due process right to call witnesses if the defendant makes a persuasive offer of proof that the testimony of the witnesses, when considered in the context of all other available information, will lead to either release without bail or a reduction in the bail amount to a level that would result in the defendant's release. The determination of whether a defendant has met this test is left to
