ORDER

The Director of the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility has filed a petition for disciplinary action alleging that respondent Jennifer Lynn Cummings committed professional misconduct warranting public discipline, namely, illegally purchasing a controlled substance from a client whom she was then representing, in violation of Minn. R. Prof. Conduct 8.4(b). Respondent pleaded guilty to one count of fifth-degree possession of a controlled-substance as a result of this conduct, and the district court stayed adjudication of her guilt pursuant to Minn.
