Woods, Associate Circuit Judge REVERSED AND REMANDED WITH INSTRUCTIONS This case arises from a delinquent land tax auction, conducted pursuant to Chapter 140 RSMo, at which Terry Dixon and Cynthia Crossland (referred to individually by their surnames and collectively as Purchasers) bought real estate previously owned by Thomas Thompson (Thomas).1 In an action to quiet title, the trial court found in favor of Purchasers, but they were ordered to pay Thomas for improvements to the real estate.
