PICKARD, Judge.
{1} Defendant appeals his convictions for four counts of forgery and one count of conspiracy to commit forgery, arising from several checks taken from his employer and signed in the employer's name.  All of Defendant's convictions were based on making false signatures.  See NMSA 1978,
