We granted allocatur in this matter to assess the validity of a judgment of sentence imposed for indirect criminal contempt, upon an asserted violation of a temporary protection order under the Protection From Abuse Act.1 For the reasons that follow, we find that the trial court should not have imposed a sentence for indirect criminal contempt.  Accordingly, we affirm the Superior Court
