Child Custody, Support, and Visitation--custody--findings

The trial court did not abuse its discretion in a divorce action by awarding primary physical custody of the children to plaintiff mother. The court is required to order custody to the person who will best promote the interest and welfare of the children and must consider all relevant factors, but need only find those facts which are material. Here, the findings challenged by defendant are supported by competent evidence. 2. Child Support, Custody, and Visitation--custody--best interest of the children

The trial court did not abuse its discretion in a child custody action in determining the best interest of the children. Even if the trial court erred in making challenged findings of fact, the court's conclusion regarding the best interest of the children is supported by sufficient findings of fact. 3.
