In this appeal of convictions of first degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of murder, we consider whether the evidence was sufficient to prove that the victim died from gunshot wounds inflicted by the defendant. On May 21, 1995, in the City of Portsmouth, Antwan R. Jenkins fired several gunshots at Kelly Jackson, inflicting three wounds. Jackson was later taken to a hospital where he
